This Christian conduct policy outlines the standards necessary to preserve a faithful witness, cultivate a Spirit-filled ministry, and help accomplish the purposes of God for our church.

Our Code of Conduct is rooted in our sincerely held biblical principles and is consistent with:
a. The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:2-17)
b. The Great Commandments as stated by Christ (Matthew 22:37-40)
c. Our church’s doctrinal beliefs from the Word of God listed in our Church Constitution and or Church By-Laws

Our church members are expected to abide by the standards outlined in this policy. The purpose of this conduct policy is to maintain a godly community within our church that protects the safety and dignity of each person attending our church. It also preserves the integrity of the ministry and doesn’t place unreasonable standards on anyone.

Our church members are expected to model appropriate behavior and conduct at all times and model relationships that demonstrates a growing Christ-likeness manifested in a lifestyle that serves and ministers to others. Church members are also expected to model appropriate language and speech that demonstrate a growing Christi-likeness (Eph.5:4). Church members should maintain Christ-like care and concern for others (Phil. 2:3-5). Problems concerning a church member’s role of ministry, a relationship with another church member, or any un-Christlike conduct will be handled directly with the individual. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be resolved, church leadership will walk through the biblical steps of church discipline based on Matt. 18:15-17. Also church members shall respect the integrity and confidences of other church members and those outside our church membership attending any church function. In summary, Christian ethics demand that church members act in love and integrity, in confidentiality, and in alignment with the mission and purpose of our church.

Inappropriate Conduct.
Violation of our Church Code of Conduct policies may result in a verbal warning, a written warning, or a member’s possible termination of their church membership. As these policies of conduct are directed toward the church member, a non-church member attending and participating in church services and events will be expected while in the presence of church members to avoid inappropriate or unacceptable  behaviors as set forth in the examples listed below.
